JPC Dinosaur Football Program

Service Description

In partnership with Football Connection, John Paul College is proud to offer the Dinosaur Football Program for students in Kindy – Year Three during Terms Two and Three. Dinosaur Football is an introductory football programme where students can enjoy developing their football skills in a fun, safe environment. Students participate in training and modified games on Saturday mornings at the Stephen Bowers Oval, John Paul College. Eligibility: The program is open to boys and girls from Kindy – Year Three at John Paul College. Activities: Students will participate in ten minutes of fun football activities warm-up, thirty minutes of skills development training, followed by twenty minutes of modified games. Players may be allocated to various groups within the program at the discretion of coaches. Uniform and Equipment: Students are to wear the JPC PE uniform and Dinosaur Top Jersey for all Dinosaur Football sessions, including football boots, shin pads, and JPC Football socks (available from the Retail Centre). Sunscreen should be worn regardless of weather conditions. Please ensure all players bring a water bottle and have plenty of fluids before, during and after the sessions. Wet Weather Procedure & Refund Policy: In the event of wet weather, players/parents will be notified either via email, text or Facebook to whether training is on or not. There is no refund for cancelled training sessions due to wet weather, individual schedules or other matters. Parent Pick Up Policy: Students must be picked up by a parent or relative promptly at 8.45 am. Parents will be phoned and texted if you are not there to collect your child by 8:45 am. An additional charge will be invoiced to parents at a rate of $10.00 per 10 minutes after 9:00 am as a member of staff will have to wait with your child under a “duty of care”. Registration: To register, please complete the Dinosaur Football Registration Form. Cost: The program cost is $199.00 Dinosaur Top Jersey is not included in this cost.
